## Veolia helps coal-fired power plant manage flue gas desulfurization wastewater

In order to comply with a zero liquid discharge (ZLD) requirement and remain environmentally compliant, a large US coal-fired power plant decided to take its older operating units offline. In addition, to comply with the environmental mandates, it is required to treat its flue gas desulfurization wastewater.
