Submetering Implementation

For a life sciences leader

Development and management of automated submetering infrastructure

A leading biotech company in Cambridge, MA required access to accurate, campus-wide energy consumption data to lay out plans for future energy conservation initiatives. In addition, they sought an accurate and reliable solution for recovering energy costs incurred by other life sciences companies who were leasing portions of their headquarters.

Veolia developed and managed the installation and integration of automated submetering infrastructure at the 1.2 million square foot facility in order to monitor energy usage, including:

  • Electricity

  • Steam
  • Natural gas
  • City water
  • Nitrogen
  • Compressed air
